I came across your site, when looking for information about the city poorhouse, 1871. A sister of my great grandfather was born there, and I was interested in finding out more about it's history.

This is a great website for Craiglockhart. My Granny Lamb lived in Craiglockhart Cresent from 1930's till 1980's, so we had lots of holidays there. I especially remember the Dell !

I used to live in Craiglockhart Place as a child up until I was 7 years of age. I have so many great memories of Craiglockhart. It was such a beautiful place and it is lovely to see all the wonderful photos especially the dome in Craiglockhart Dell. Thank you
